This post is unimpressive and a snore fest 💤💤💤
Feels like a bit of a sexist and inaccurate post
^I have. My friend's maid of honor was not incoherent nor rambling. While the guy's speech was good too, i personally think she one-up'd him by translating it too for the bride's family that spoke little english. Maybe you should go to more weddings before generalizing.
Will keep that in mind, thanks
@GS1 - observing behavior exhibited by people of different sexes and commenting on it doesn't make it a sexist. Have you ever heard a legitimately great maid of honor speech? In my mid-30s and still haven't...i've heard a handful of ok ones, which is why I used the word "almost" above, but Best Man speeches I have observed have been unquestionably of higher quality on the whole, with much lower "absolute disaster" potential.
Sounds like a snore fest of a "party" if the MoH is not trashed
The dudes usually go first....
I really hope OP is that same nutter spamming FB with shite anti-women chat...if it's just one naughty kid pissing in the pool then all hope is not lost
Ppl aren't calling you out on stating what you observed. It's the silly conclusion that you made based on a very small sample.
^exactly. If Op's post is an indication of the caliber of his BM speech, the audience eyes would be glazed and we'd hear grandpappy snoring .😂💤
Went to my best friends wedding last week. Maid of honor went first. Her speech was meh, but I think the tears are helpful. Hard to follow that.
^ Agree and respect the logic of your first statement
^perfect opportunity to close with some levity. Men unafraid and not intimidated by a few tears will jump on the chance. #fearnotears #mohbmteamwork
If having observed awful Maid of Honor speeches and then verbalizing that I witnessed them makes me a sexist, the sure, I am a sexist.
This was *exactly* what happened at my wedding. I'm considering the possibility that you were actually there and felt inspired to post this.
The theory to explain this experience is otherwise known "umwelt"
