Hey there I know someone who will be offered an entry level commercial real estate role with JP Morgan Chase. The official title is “commercial real estate first year analyst” location is Chicago, IL. Can you provide the entry level salary range and shed some light on the remaining compensation package for this role, please?

2nd year Asc. here - just received an offer from Amazon for a Sr Product Manager role. Base: $152K, Signing bonus: $80K (paid out over 2 years) and RSUs worth $140K paid out over 4 years (5%/15%/40%/40%). How much should I aim for during negotiations? At what number do you believe this opportunity is worth taking over staying at McKinsey to make EM?

Does exceptional client rating mean anything as far as hikes are concerned? Does the panel consider that there are poor guys with poor compensation who didn’t have salary revision on December?

Hi all, currently working for a French startup at €200 a day post taxes. Will be starting at EYP soon and the French company wants me to stay on (work for both companies). They don’t care about my hours as long as I deliver. Is it worth the added stress? Comp at EYP will be $110

EU/Germany based fish, what would be a reasonable salary for Frankfurt for a tech role with 5 YOE in the financial services industry? I was thinking between 100-120k. Would that be average or upper range?

I am switching gears from immigration law, to criminal law in the coming month. This is coming after years with a small firm. No general complaints on where I am at, I just feel I have peaked here in terms of what I can do and be compensated.

The new firm has a better compensation structure and room to grow.

The point of my post is, has anyone switched fields like this? I am excited but also a little nervous the change of pace will be overwhelming at first.

Obviously not too relevant rn now but how often should I switch firms if I’m trying to maximize my salary? Ik there are other ways to max salary but ive heard switching firms can result in big changes fast. Want to max salary but don’t want to be seen as a flight risk. 23 been with my firm for a year (since graduation) and plan to def stay for at least another year, depending on economic situation.

I am interviewing for a Senior Principal consulting role at SLALOM in the UK. This is within data and analytics.

I cannot seem to find any salary range expectations for the UK. Everything out there is for the USA market and I cannot go with USA salary compensation range as it is total different from the UK Market.

Can someone who is in the UK or knows people in the UK within the same position give me an idea please? I do not want to be lowballed or negotiate myself poorly as salary range alot.

Weird question for partners: does your $1m+/ year salary make you happy?

An expensive home, fine foods, luxury accommodations, etc. Is it a "grass is greener" feeling as a lowly consultant?

When giving your salary expectations, do you say one number, or do you give a broad range?
