Hello! I am extremely frustrated because my company does not have a formal training program. My manager always defaults to me when it comes to training new employees. Training is NOT in my job description. Is this something that I should discuss with my manager? I wouldn’t mind training if I was getting compensated for it. I’m afraid that they might just say it’s part of being a “team player”.

So I have met a man who is 55, with 2 kids. He’s had a whole life before me (was in IB, made a lot of money, got married etc). I am 34 and haven’t had kids … and my career is getting close to where I want it to be, but there’s still a way to go. However, we click, there’s a lot of chemistry. Is that too big an age gap/ are we too far apart?
