The key is in delegation and patience. Ive observed that i try to be a perfectionist so i have a hard time delegating something. But the more you do and coach your team, it will free up your time to focus on other tasks

like

Still struggling with this, but I agree. Also important to have a good task management system for yourself and your team to keep you focused on the right things.

Let me know when you figure it out. I did so well as a staff/senior when I was able to just work on a single workpaper for awhile and make it perfect. I can’t juggle all the smaller tasks

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

Maybe this is the wrong platform for this, but to me the whole virtual interview process is so fake to me. Granted virtual can never REALLY take the place of in person interviews. The interviewer will say “yeah you did great” I think you’ll be a great fit here “……then ghosts you for a long time. All the fake questions. All the “requirements” that won’t equal a good employee. I just wish ppl would be real.

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

Has anybody had experience "discovering" themselves and how did you do it?

I don't know if this is the ADHD but I've been at my firm for a year and not one day have I woken up with motivation to go above and beyond the bare minimum.
