Hi! This year I have been blessed. I made 200k from selling stocks and still has about 700k worth of shares. My family of 4 were struggling to make ends meet the past few years because California, everything is expensive including our mortgage. We are trying to organize our finances, we have 401k &got the house refinanced. I’m interested in investing in rental properties. Is it bad to ask someone you are close with at work how much there salary is? Me and a colleague recently started a new position few months ago, same title. I’m sure we make the same, but curious to confirm. We talk about non work related stuff often and money.

Since I can’t use Robinhood I switched to Fidelity but find Fidelity much harder to visually see how my investments are doing compared to RH. Is this just the sad reality of Fidelity or should I look at Vanguard or CS?
