I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

Hi Everyone,
I just received an offer to work as an software sales representative (SDR) for IBMs Z systems. I'm coming as a sales engineer in the cloud security space. Can anyone advise me on whether Z systems are something worth going into? Also what do the growth opportunities look like at IBM? Is there opportunity for lateral movement onto other teams? Not too sure how I feel about working on mainframes (Z systems) but they keep pitching hybrid cloud to me. IBM
Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.
Bless you PMs.
Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service

My biggest regret was leaving my international assignment in Italy and coming back to NYC after a year. The quality of life and work/life balance is so much better. Stay as long as posible unless you’re itching for bigger scope or a role that doesn’t exist in region.
US pays better
Europe is nicer standard of living, community, people, etc
My $0.02:
US offers more career opportunities and exits
Europe offers to a lesser degree but a better quality of life. Pay isn’t as marked up in Europe as it is in the US (that said, it’s not that you won’t be able to find jobs that pay very well). Also, knowing local languages for the countries you want to work in can open up many more opportunities.
(Based on personal experience of having lived and worked in the US, and currently living and working in the UK - I might have generalized it for Europe based off my experience and the experience of my friends)
Thanks for your comments!
There is no work life balance in US specially if you’re looking for a high pay.
Rising Star
In my experience...
USA pro - Higher salaries and more opportunities.
USA neg - Most USA jobs are "at will" meaning you can be let go with no notice for almost any reasons. And, you will be picking up much of your healthcare and retirement expenses.
Europe pro - The labor laws tend to be stronger so you have more job security (it took us months to fire a guy in our Scandinavian office) and stronger rights in general at the workplace.
Europe neg - Lower salaries, higher taxes, and fewer opportunities. If you work for an American company you will always be a 'satellite' office.
I agree with all of the above. However, it is increasingly possible to achieve WLB depending on your company. I work for a small startup atm and I have great WLB.
Wow, you guys brought quite a few interesting points to the table. In particular, the burden of social security is one that I must agree and does concern me.
To @Senior UX Designer 1, I do work for an American company here. That point of being a satellite office, how do you think in general this can impact someone personally? (Less career opportunities?) I’ve had some thoughts along those lines…
