Anyone at Ritz Battery Park?
I think you can do better with bonuses and parental leave in the current market

I’m incorporating it into the counteroffer to include it
Have you tried to get Booz Allen to match/come close to it? Provided you like it where you’re at; BAH benefits are a little better compared to the offer.

EY1 - thought about that also, but the contract and PM team is hurting. They need a “me” sooner than later.

No parental leave within 2 years is insane. Most companies have a 12 month exemption; some have 6 months while others have none.
What is your current level and TC? I am in my parental leave now, BAH’s 6 weeks is on the good end, not the best (12 weeks is the best i heard). Also no parental leave in the first TWO years sounds like a cheap company. You may get a good bump, but they will also work you like a horse until you drop. Is it worth it? My partner switched to a boutique company from FED for 25% bump. But she worked twice as many hours for that increase, plus they only offered 7 days of maternity leave. Insane. She switched back to FED. If you’re still switching, calculate your 6 weeks of pay, add that to your offered salary or ask a sign on bonus.
Just a thought.

Yea being at BAH doesn’t provide for a comparison elsewhere on a lot of metrics, due to the low rates they hold all personnel to - with the glory of WLB and “great benefits”
It’s no paternity the first 2 years.
I came in as an exp hire to A. Knew it was only for a time. Times up.
