Evaluating position at a $1B tech product + services + staffing company.... what comp (base + bonus) + equity would you expect?
VP of Corp Dev, remote, answering to COO and CEO. The role requires building (hiring a team) and building out playbook, procedures, processes, controls, from deal sourcing, through close and through execution (so soup to nuts in charge of all corp dev). Also, executing multiple $100M deals nationally and internationally.

Im a top performer on my team, if not the best (no kidding my boss praises me like no other and they haven’t seen more than 60%). I recently had an interview with cognizant..HR DIScussed salary and role and told me that I will expect the offer letter in 2-3 days. But it's been 18 days, i did not hear anything from their end..Hr is not picking up my calls . 7 days ago she replied on my email that I will get my offer letter soon..after that no response.
Will they consider me? Is it sure I will get my offer letter?

Anyone dealt with age discrimination at work or thought they were fired because of it? I have a strong hunch I was let go because I'm older than most of the team and they're trying to get a "fresh perspective." To me it just sounds like they're firing anyone over 50.

I got offered a retention bonus with a clawback of 2 years at 20k. I don’t think that’s worthwhile at the manager level given the job market being an employees market. I manage a large account with a highly visible brand with a great relationship with the client. I was going to use this opportunity to renegotiate for many things like early promotion and a salary increase.

Does anyone have tips/suggestions for other things to negotiate for?
