So many VC funds out there how can you tell if they’re a good fund to join if they’re not a big name (a16z, Sequoia, etc)?

We are still waiting for our refund for 1040 efiled in March (still pending per where's my refund) but now realized we're not going to get the monthly child tax credit payments because "Your eligibility is pending." We qualify using 2019 or 2020 amounts (stay at home spouse).

PwC Fish - I’m considering where to have a baby, either the US or Austria (I currently live in Vienna, but thinking to move home to the US). What’s maternity leave in the US? How much does it actually cost to have a baby with our insurance? In Austria, I can take up to a year off, but only receive €2,000 a month from the government 😳… I don’t think there is any paid leave through the firm. The value is now over 400K and I have an equity of over 150K. We are thinking of moving to a different state.Should we rent this place ($2400/month) and with recent refinance my mortgage will be $1600/month(inclu pay all) or sell it to pull out equity for the new home in a different state? FYI: we have over 100K in cash to down payment.
