I know I am underdelivering. I know they want me to be an intelligent and trusted partner. They want to see thought-provoking POVs, proactive investigation and proposals, insightful and thoughtfully designed remote workshops and creative brief kick-offs, etc. They want to be wowed and pushed to new heights. I KNOW. I want this too. But 10 hours of my day is spent in pointless meetings, correcting tactical briefs, and clarifying poorly-written client emails. It’s demoralizing.
