Hi All, I got offer from HCL and date of joining is after 73 days but my notice period is of 90 days, does HCL extend my date of joining,if yes how and how much time it will take to extend?

I'm thinking of going through the DV clearance process, and was wondering if anyone works in that space and would be willing to share their views? Interesting projects? Better promo opportunities?

Im 27 and just started a new role in corporate philanthropy coming from product management. I’m very excited but I have a hard time not thinking ahead. Most on the team have been there 10 years and it looks like upward movement would not be possible due to limited roles within the department. I could see myself looking to climb the ladder in 3/4 years, acknowledging that I’d have to look elsewhere but I think the team may expect that I stay on longer as it is a niche role. Is this relatable lol?

I got selected in Mnc and hr told the offer letter will be sent the very next day and told " you can call me anytime for any queries".But when checking after 3 days hr not even picking up the call and no offer letter till now.

So I get that in a corporate set up, you are supposed to be sharp and witty and think on your feet. Trouble is, I am extremely slow with comebacks. (Think Ross in Friends/Amy in B99) at the crunch moment, I generally end up not being able to give a good roast back. Unfortunately the best of them come to me like a few hours later (dinner/shower/TV) and I am left ruing and amazing opportunity to have gotten one back. I am awful at jibes and roasts.

Anyone else suffer from this?
