@D2 It can get quite high if you do well. It's something like $10K for every $1M sold average of 3 best years multiplied by the number of years you were a partner. So, 15 partner years x $50K ($5M) = $750K...
Presumably the pension is being funded as the partners are earning into it. So it is essentially and element of partner compensation paid each year. So I don't even think rates would be lower, it would just shift to another element of partner compensation.
