Any PwC 🐟 from Zürich willing to connect?
I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Know for a given, in 9 years you can easily make Senior Manager! Not sure abt PPD!
At EY the fastest I've ever heard was 13 years. College straight to Partner. Youngest in the firm
They loan you the money
Forgot to add - talking about advisory/consulting only
Same story everywhere I see, lol
It's really depends half of the partners at pwc made partner via the assurance practice so it only took them 9 years
At p I know people who joined from undergrad in 2006 and are now Director. I also know an MBA hire from 2006 who made Partner in 2015.
P2 in advisory.
D1 that must be in advisory, 13 for consulting
Makes me think if all this is even worth it :(
D1... I am in consulting and known many who have made it in 9 years!
You could be perfect. But if you don't have the money to buy in... Then it doesn't matter.
I'm shooting to make it in 14 years. That gives me 5 years from where I am now (D1).
Yeah I don't think money is anyone's concern
Pwc3... Are you talking abt Partner or Sr. Mgr?
If the firm will only lend you a certain percent. To be even considered you must x amount of financial equity. Add to that you have 'managed' a key account. My ED just made partner -only been with EY - 6yrs and came from industry.
D1- Partner. I'm already a Director.
EY 2, so how do they know who can and cannot afford it? I doubt they go around asking "if we make you partner - how much money will u be needing"
You're first considered by other 'partners' - someone has to 'sponsor' you. They then 'ask for your interest' and that's when you get audited. So your income taxes, past submitted expenses etc etc. if all that passes then the talks really start to happen.
