I have a total of 5.5 years of experience with current CTC as 11.5 lpa.
I have a offer from Infosys of 17 lpa
But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)
Please suggest me, if i should take the onsite opportunity or keep looking for counter on my current offer.
I have 70 days of Notice Period left.

Not knocking that creatives have it harder - they definitely do.
But yeah your first sentence is completely not true and doesn’t give enough credit to your coworkers in other departments. Also not cool

Very very true. The standards and stakes are much higher for creatives. But our job can be a lot more fun and pay better, so there’s a little tradeoff there.
Now if recruiters could stop treating us like garbage before and after the interview, that would be nice
Your first paragraph is wrong on so many levels. Feel you on the rest though. Change some words to more account based priorities and you have all of advertising covered.
Makes sense when you ARE the product as a creative. Your department makes or breaks winning and retaining business. And like Grey 1 said, definitely more earning potential than most of us.
I definitely wouldn’t want that kind of pressure. So definitely respect those who can handle it. And to constantly have ideas shot down. Potentially ageing out before other departments. Etc.

It's really not far off this for Planners nowadays... And we have to do 'free thinking' presentations multiple ( sometimes past 6) rounds of interviews and have to do tons of research into the specific brand / market place...but we are some of the best paid people in agencies alongside creatives...so it makes sense.
