Every time I watch the news these days, I’m reminded of an episode of Black Mirror. It’s just propaganda at this point.

Junior atty at a big regional firm. Not big law per se but I have more financial security than anyone in my family and can importantly help them (not just sallie Mae). Grew up poor so money is important.Practicing IP law and luckily enjoy it but often I feel like what I’m doing is hollow and unimportant! Feel like I should be doing more!

So how do I get myself out of this funk without completely abandoning the profession and/or losing my financial stability?

I am living with a spouse with whom my relationship has at an all time low. I can see he doesn't like me (if I am being honest, his reasons are fair).
I am a generally "sad" person and apart from our 5 year old son, I don't have any joy in my life. I spend a lot of time with my son and we both love him to bits and show him that everyday.
I am starting my therapy, but no hope it will actually work. Is it even possible to find a way forward? Leaving the marriage at this point is not an option.
