Where are all the female devs in Germany?! We just went on a hiring blitz for one of our venture companies and the only female candidates applied to an open MarCom position. NO applicants for tech. Wondering if you all have any suggestions as to where to post jobs so more women in tech see them. Hey All. I had my 2nd round interviews for a Lead Solution Engineer role at Salesforce on Monday (2 days ago). It was w/ 2 separate SEs, and I thought both interviews went very well. Have yet to hear from the recruiter, though, which seems odd. Especially given how responsive the recruiter's been prior to this. Is that normal? Do I just need to be patient or should I mentally prepare for a rejection? Thanks!

I want to hear everyone's honest opinions on unlimited PTO policies. Call me old-fashioned, but I miss having an allotted number of days we were allowed to use annually. Seems like there are no companies following that model anymore. Unlimited PTO messes with my head and for some reason I get more paranoid about what people are thinking if I do.

Our in-house creative team got our hands slapped for not inviting more members of the marketing team to a creative presentation. The creative needed quick approval to be executed properly within a tight timeline and the members of the marketing team who were not invited did not have a specific role/task on the creative project. Why does it seem like the creative team always has to do a full on talent show every presentation but no other arm of the marketing team does? Thoughts?

Is it bad to leave public accounting for a role that would be the lowest level in the chain of command? I would be going from being responsible for 8 people to being at the lowest level. However it’s about a 35% pay increase, but feel it might now be the best move.
