Basically men talk about the first argument
Women discuss the second argument
We are wired to portray only our sufferings and ignore/criticize the other gender.
But these things are changing nowadays and generalizing doesn't work anymore, as every individual is different

Women talk a lot about equality and rights when it comes to doing household work (look at the language here slave)
When it comes to paying bills dropping someone then they expect haan this is not our thing its implied.
An no one forces anyone thats such a lame victim card thing.
If you are so particular about equality then be equal in all things
Time for a reality check...women expect their partners to make more money than they do , their expectations are implied.
There is no generalization to make here though.
Its when people like Kangana and this whole new rant of being victim which fails to amuse me.

This system is changing at its own pace.
Because of huge population, this can be observed quickly changing in some areas/among certain group of people compared to the others.
But trust that it is changing for good. And the discussions aren't going to change that speed.
One thing I'd like to clarify though, this is a system which is equally contributed towards by a whole family instead of 'one guy'.
Whole family includes the guy's mother, sister, father, brother even relatives who expect all this stuff. Even the guy's sister could have her opinion that she wants a fair girl for her brother. And I think we don't need to look further than our own families to hear stuff like this.
Since most of the marriages are still arranged in India, each and everyone of the above is equally a part of this bad system.
PS : Same goes for girls too, most of them don't even want to marry a not so good looking guy with good CTC, but because of family pressure, they do. So it's not guy vs girl but about a mentality that's changing.
Please try to look at the bigger picture here.

People think women are gold digger just because of these fake YouTube pranks, these pranks have influenced people a lot in a negative way.
We are fine with someone who doesn't own a car or a house but is loving and caring.
i agree, her family may not allow her to marry someone who is not financially stable, but if she really loves someone then she'll make sure to marry at her any cost.
Not all men are the same. And not all woman are the same.
