This is basically my career. Built on the laziness of others

You're the one eyed person in the land of the blind. It's amazing how lazy some people can be when they think someone else can solve their problem. Good job security for you though.

Hard same. For minor issues I have had to teach my team to fish (aka Google), bc I was starting to feel like an operator

This is how I taught my mom about computers. She was always asking me questions, and I had to show her how to Google the answers herself. Now she's... better. Honestly I think a lot of it comes down to intimidation (in my moms case and your colleagues) and it's easier to ask somebody for help/to do it than risk screwing up or breaking something. Once you realize that few things are breakable and fewer things are unfixable, you get better at solving problems and learning these tools.

Newly promoted experienced hire SC making $113k, 10 YOE (switched industries). Got an offer from TCS in an Advisory practice (not the tech sweatshop stuff that I keep seeing people mention). Base salary is $190k and in TCS equivalent of a M role. Downside to taking the salary hike and boomeranging back to D in ~2 years? FYI - I have 2 kids, so that kind of pay raise is kind of a big deal.
