How are recruiters paid?

Does the attorney have to stay for X months for them to get paid? Or is their pay secured? Reason I ask is because I lateraled using a recruiter recently (more than half a year, less than a full year ago), but am not content with the new firm and I'm wondering if they have a conflicting incentive for me to stay or if there's no such conflict with reaching out to them and saying this new firm isn't the right fit.

Is it possible to break into M&A/FDD from audit?

I just finished my Masters at UT Arlington. I’ve been working for this firm for almost 3 years in uptown Dallas. I technically don’t have a title, obviously because I’m not license. I mainly do a lot of renderings and postproduction work along with some digital graphics for a lot of projects. Is it too soon to ask for a pay raise? Or how do I come about that?

Been at ACN for <2 years in the T&O practice and being let go due to restructuring (new MD did not know me and my CC wasn’t very helpful in relaying my story). I got Workday PM certification which was approved by the previous MD and been involved in a couple of Workday HR Transformation engagements. I predict that for the future Workday will have a difficult time deploying for small and medium enterprise customers at lower price points. Most of the firms that did these types of deployments only made money towards the tail end through more lucrative support contracts but take a look at how many of them sold themselves in recent months or had layoffs (CS, Sierra-Cedar, Alchemy).
