Exit opps for small growth equity fund? (Assuming you aren’t going career track)

Hello fishes! I am currently interviewing for a Portfolio Associate role a PIMCO , down in their Newport office. I would like to get some feedback if any of you are familiar with this role, what are the exist opportunities that can come up down the road? I know it is not presented as a front office role but more of a support role to PMs. Appreciate anyone’s input on this. Thank you!

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.
