Exit Opps for supply chain consulting and comp.
What are some good exit options for a consultant with supply chain specialization and any idea what comp. would be for an exiting senior associate with 3-4 YOE?

Open to suggestions on how I could research the topic myself if no one has any specific info.

Most companies have supply chain/logistics departments. Amazon and Walmart are two large companies that come to mind. Really any CPG or retail company as well. Rudimentary point that I’m sure you’re aware of, but think of companies moving products all around the world.

Position varies by company. Manager level at one company may be Director level at another or Senior Analyst at the next.

Compensation can vary greatly based on a variety of factors. Without much to go off of, maybe in the $100-120k range.

Thanks for the info.

Medical device / pharma companies also have supply chain departments and projects

I was made aware that I could work for consulting companies under a personal LLC and increase the pay received. My understanding is this is because I would have to pay my own insurance, benefits etc. Can anyone provide any additional details or literature on this?

A recruiter at another B4 gave me a number much lower than what I’m currently making. Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? I hesitate to just throw out current salary + 20% bc I’d be asking for almost $190k for a SC role and I know that would be quite a huge ask for a SC @ B4, even for tech

I work as a consultant for a small HR consulting service in Ontario, Canada. Our owner/president wants us to hit a revenue target of $1m this year. The closest we’ve come is $800k in 2019. We also noticed that in 2019 we hit our highest revenue but did the fewest overall client work for that year. In 2020 and 2021 we did more client work but fell short of $800k revenue. Our avg rev per client is $2500, with a lot of single projects @ $500. Does it makes sense to increase our prices?
