D2, I’m never coming back.

Highly advise against that. You are digging yourself a professional crater. Any person who ever hears about what you did or ever worked with you, will ensure if your resume ever comes before them at whatever company they end up at, will never hire you. The professional world isn’t that small. Be courteous. Remember that your firm paid you generously, helped you to grow professionally and personally (even if you didn’t take advantage of it). Think about the bigger picture before you do something rash that you’ll regret down the road

I wanna leave like... in next 3 business days (if possible)

likefunny

Two weeks at a minimum.

like

Two weeks, don't listen to people who say otherwise. Who knows, sometimes people give two weeks and are asked to leave EARLIER

like

I would speak largely positively. Nothing you say will get someone else fired. Just be positive and non political and you won’t burn a bridge and you never know, one day you might end up back there

Also give two weeks notice at least (maybe up to 3 if you won’t want to burn a bridge

A1 is right - don’t burn any bridges. You might want to come back.

You may never go back, but your reputation matters. Don’t burn bridges. Always be professional. Don’t react emotionally.

If you want to leave earlier tell them you're going to another big 4, you'll be asked to pack up that day

If you are unstaffed it's likely you will be asked to leave within the week.

Recently exited, give two weeks, they may walk you out sooner. If you are at PwC which based on your title I am assuming you are, make sure you jot down your employee ID, you will need it for rolling over your 401k. Exit interview is nothing ground breaking, they just tell you the process of exiting and it happens very quickly.

I received a message on LinkedIn from an internal recruiter at a company that sounded intriguing. Would it be bad form to ask for more information about the role and about comp up front? I wasn’t looking to leave my firm until later next year at the earliest, but the company sounds really interesting. Don’t want to waste a lot of time if the comp isn’t right, though.

Has anyone else dealt with this situation? My company has no CLO or GC. However, my company runs all in house legal opinions through its CCO, a non attorney. The CCO and I have had disagreements on points of law on several occasions, but regulatory actions have backed up my opinions. Regardless, the company values the layman's point of view more than mine. I do not feel appreciated by this company in my current role.

Not sure how can I take this up with my project manager, looks too early to ask for such things. Please suggest.
