Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

What is concerning you? It sounds like a great role.
Thank you! Just knowing it will be different between being the auditor and being the executor/operator.
Doesn’t hurt to try. You can always go back to PA.
Firstly congrats! I don't want to sugarcoat it, it is not going to be easy in the first 6 months. I think there will be a huge learning curve and you'll have to understand all products, services, and lines of business within the organization. Be patient, absorb as much as you can, look for mentors, and be positive and focused. We hired an experienced audit manager from D&T, who faced similar challenges. She's been with us for a little over a year now and has been doing phenomenally well. You'll find your strengths in transferable skills. Don't be hard on yourself and trust me when I say it the learning curve is going to be steep. Keep an open mind and good luck!
Thank you! This is really great advice
3 pieces of advice. Get the Wiley Gaap guide. It goes through basics, 2 the pwc financial reporting guide can get you smart by and area in reporting. Between those 2 you can get smart enough to know anything. Bring your team donuts and make a friend who has been at the company. You will do fine. It takes time to get up to speed. Also look at previous filings and competitors in the industry.
