Is this in federal? You should be coming in at the C level. 79k is the higher end for BTA’s though. Also Deloitte doesn’t really care for master degrees outside of MBA’s from target schools
Dude that salary is sad and laughable. 4 years of experience. Deloitte gives kids out of undergrad 70k. 90k. At least g weez.
Did you tell them what you make now? If so they gotcha!
Don’t get disheartened. Your maturity and experience will shine through and you can aim for a high rating which will be good raise and bonus. Welcome to Deloitte! In grand scheme of things hopefully this won’t matter.
^ a good friend of mine joined after 5 years of experience as BA (!?) But always got 1s, people raving and did extremely well overall. Got MBA paid for and lots of support and exciting projects. Think of the positives and look quickly for PPMD/ SM supporters that will help you progress quickly. Good luck!
I mean you should go up for early promo if you join. Are you doing campus hiring from your masters program? BTA is entry level from undergrad/masters and they make C after 2 years typically
That is WAY too low
If already joined, no need to stress. Feel a little bad but get over it and learn that all these firms are out there to take advantage of you and you should do the same. When time comes, don't think twice to jump ship. Try for early promo but don't count on it. They are very hard to come these days.
Thanks!!! Good luck to you all in your journeys 😊😊
Don't join as a bta.
I’ve already joined 😩😩. I’ll see how I can go up for early promo. Thanks!
Thanks and I am in Technology not federal. Any suggestions to get to consultant quicker?
Oof and I thought I had it bad coming in as a BTA at 73k after 1 year of work experience and 2 master’s degrees...
Thanks so much D2
Fyi. Tech is the area. Federal vs. Nonfed i.e. commercial.
