Extremely unreasonable demands during notice period: I got asked by a partner to work on an assignment during the last week of my notice period. The assignment will take at least 60-70 hours to finish. I have other stuff to do, and final stuff to wrap up for other matters. I tried to push back but he clearly didn’t care and just wanted to cram this down my throat. Any suggestions as to what to do?

Went to the bathroom. Partner walked in and not only set up at the urinal next to me, but started asking me when I was gonna have some work done for him. There were dividers but come on man.

Hi y’all! Hope this is the right bowl to post this question and get advice. I am dealing with an employer that preaches our values. The owner states that the values are important to her etc yet my manager violates these values and is involved in unethical behavior frequently. Example 1: My manager has told specialists (resourcers) that she will pay them under the table in order for her (manager) to get full credit vs splitfor the placement and therefore (barely) hit her target for the quarter.

Corp/securities associate and lateraled to a 40-50 attorney firm earlier this year. I’m a non traditional candidate and considered a 3rd or 4th year and make $200k base. Waiting on raise/bonus info but can’t help but wonder if I could be making $100k more at a larger firm and working similar hours. I put a premium on the people I work with and have gotten a good rhythm here as well as built up a good rep so far. For reference I have billed avg. 180-200 hrs a month. Any insights?
