I want to come to Amdocs from EPAM with few months of experience, currently SDE2. I do have some questions, though.
1. How does EPAM compare to Amdocs? Regarding the job satisfaction, projects, Permanent WFH, etc.
2. This company is, in my opinion, one of the best for growth and high-quality projects. Can someone vouch to this?
3. I would appreciate it if you could recommend SDE2, SDE3, or both.

I’m a first year. I get incredibly stressed out over things I do not know how to do or manage. Often times it’s some sort of agreement I am told to review, more recently to manage a cap table, and just the everyday tasks of a transaction. Even small things like tracking signatures and whether they signed the correct way, etc. All of the unknowingness just kills me. I know it takes time to learn. But it’s stressful. I have no mid level associates in my office, so all my questions go to partners.

Advice needed on handing in notice, I recently signed an offer letter and understand the screening process takes 4-6 weeks. I have a month's notice period and have agreed a preliminary start date in Feb.

I was planning on not handing my notice in until the checks had been completed so its all secured (not that I think I will fail any checks), but apparently I need a reference from my current employer not previous ones. Can't really do this without handing in notice can I?

I was interviewing with a new position when the promo came.

Have one last interview but I'm likely to get the job.

New position is 10k more than old salary but 15k less than new one.

Gets me out of public accounting (better WLB) and into a space I'm interested in.

Also gets me out of tax (major goal) into a more general finance role.

I'm thinking try it for a year or two, see how it goes, and jump if needed.
