Hi Ladies!! Trying to get a pulse check/sanity check. I’m current a Business Analyst and have been with the same company for 4 years. The benefits are fabulous (unlimited time off and random mental health days) and have the ability to really work from anywhere. Yet, I’m not that excited about the work I do and make a decent salary, but know my market value is higher if I were to leave. Do I chase the money and get something “new” on my resume? Or stay with the comfortability?

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

I'm about to start my H1-B process now.
I have a 2 year-old son who lives with my ex-wife back in my country.
I don't intend to include him in the application right now, since he doesn't live with me, but let's say that one year after I get the H1-B, my ex and I decide to get back together and they want to move to the US. Would it be possible to include them as my dependents then?

I have a desk job where I’ll legit sit for 9hrs each day. I used to have hobbies on the computer, like video editing, writing code for side projects, sketching out app ideas. Lately I can’t stand to be at my desk anymore after work. Been watching too much tv instead. More so seems like it’s due to being in the same location for so many hrs each day. Just switched to advisory from audit and kinda regret it. Seems like a bunch of unstructured random tasks that rarely have a hard deadline… which is sadly not my preferred way to work. Everyone says advisory is better so I’m gonna try to stick it out but ugh

3 years GT Audit - manage small team, manage engagements,

2 years Industry Accounting - manage small team, improve monthly processes, month end close, reconciliations, generate financial reports, generate budget and forecasts
