Trying to help my wife make a career change into a Customer Success role at a tech company with a strong customer facing product, and career path potential.

She comes from many years of customer service, web design and management, and e-commerce experience.

She’s got a few nibbles from LinkedIn, Slack, but hoping for some feedback from those who love their job and company.

Novice investor here so please bear with me. I opened a vanguard account dec 2019 and invested around $1K..over the course of the year I invested about $68k.. I just checked the total gains and it shows about $10k. That’s about 14% gain via investment in small amounts in vgt, zoom, tsla, ark, vtsax etc..Is it fair to assume 15% gain year over year ?

Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. We work in small client teams (1-3 team members per client usually) and it’s a mix of strategy, tactical, and outsourced HR work. Any suggestions?

In a niche industry that is very stuck in old ways (not to mention small enough to where I am one of the few minorities), I am wearing my natural hair to all client and internal Zoom meetings to subtly remind everyone to be respectful and mindful of what they say. Be kind, be nice, and show empathy - I know it’s all business most times, but the smallest gestures can mean the world right now. I’m starting to think there is a very dark side to marketing. My whole job is basically manipulating people into spending money, often money they can’t afford. I’m really starting to question my career.

I'm a immigrant from India, living here in US from past one year. I'm gay but married to women in India. I have a 2 year old kid. My family is still in India and planning to join in few months. I feel of finding freedom here, I'm able to hang out with gays n have a good gay social life. But, at times I wonder on how would my future look like and get scared of it. I don't know how to work it out and the way out.
