EY’s FS group is more mature/established, and the culture is generally more collegial. Deloitte’s may pay better, especially if they’re trying to grow. For what it’s worth, almost nobody I know who has worked for Deloitte had anything good to say about the culture.
Whichever pays more
Deloitte. The answer is always Deloitte before EY
EY’s culture is less cutthroat, if that’s something that matters to you.
I spent 5 years in EY FSO and really enjoyed my coworkers. My negative experiences were few and far between. I only left because an opportunity to grow a practice came along. Agreed with the other poster on comp though. Deloitte is typically higher though it’s not like EY is below market rate.
EY FSO has great culture. No one ever leaves because the people, only pay if homegrown. If you are external hire you should be coming in at the top of the band or above your homegrown peers already.
Not for middle management only on the initial entry or higher levels is when if evens out (sm / partner)
Why does FSO practice at EY has such bad reviews in Reddit?
