Folks in the US on H1B: can we travel to Puerto Rico without our passports? My visa stamp expired and I haven’t been able to travel back to India to get a new one, have the approval notice w me though. Can I use my State ID when I get to Puerto Rico- do they have immigration there when we land or is it just like flying domestically in the US?

I am working on a project to create a module/workshop for effective interviewing and best practices for hiring managers. I’d love some feedback on some points/topics that I should include.

I felt like a walking zombie during thanksgiving, barely eating and barely talking. My family is small and I told them ahead of time my relationship ended. I focused on my niece and nephews, cried when I wanted to and slept from 8pm-noon for the last 5 days. Showered once or twice. That’s the best I could do and that’s OK right now. I’m back in my apartment, just trying to take it one day at a time, and not re read his texts too much. My birthday is Thursday 🙄

Has anyone ever accepted and signed a contract to join a firm but pulled out shortly after (but still before start date)? Are there legal consequences I need to watch for?

Who is relaxing, taking a break from everything and just chilling? That would be me… I don’t know about y’all but this spring break is well needed!!

Can IB peeps help me understand the hours you work. At 80 hours per week the following seem inevitable: High rate of errors or extreme drop off in productivity (most likely both). Emotional reactions. Poor decision making. Little to no creativity. Extreme sleep deprivation or no social life (likely both). Obviously the list could go on. I don’t see how it’s a net benefit to the employee or employer.

I left EY in September and tried to go back I was told there is a cooling off period for people to return. Is this true or am I black balled? I had average reviews I wasn’t great or anything but I always did my work just didn’t get involved in much.

I got an offer from Telstra, I have 7.5 yrs of exp., please guide me how's working at Telstra, in terms of wlb .

And job security, as there are lots of new about lay offs in the industry from product based organisations mainly, will Telstra be safe to join.

How many days need to come to office, and what are the work timings.

Is work from home option also possible.

Has an agency ever ghosted you while being employed?

Anyone take a fully remote position and regret it? Do you feel your hours and WLB is worse/better with this arrangement?

Looking at merging with another firm in NY. My practice in my current small firm has been mainly with clients in NJ which I doubt will travel to NY. Firm in NY is now saying we will pay some of your costs for your Jersey office (50 percent of cost) and then after 2 years wants me in the NY firm every day. Is that normal and there package will pay me about the same but I get rid of my administration which I handle for the firm and can be a lot of work. Thoughts on pay and rent cost?

IAAP is an awarding body in UK.

My doubt is, does the value of the certificate of IFRS change depending on the Institution?

Will a person who cleared IFRS from IAAP have same value as a person who cleared IFRS from ACCA?
