What do you think is a reasonable comp package for an Amazon L5 position in a MCOL city?
SAP Function consultant at big4 or HR tech consulting at big4? HR tech role specializes in strategy, vendor selection, and optimization. Anyone know which will have better exit oops / career progression?
Can anyone refer me to either Deloitte USI Kolkata or EY GDS Kolkata for business strategy role...I am already on notice.
Looking to apply to EYP strategy as a senior associate/consultant. I have 2YOE in consulting (across EY and boutique) and a masters in accounting. Would anyone within the practice be able to give me an overview on the type of projects the practice sells, the type of work I’d be doing in my role, and any insights on the interview cycle? Haven’t applied yet, so a referral would also be appreciated (help me get you a referral bonus!)

EY Business Consulting - Finance vs Deloitte Business Valuations *posting for a friend* Hey guys, I’m expecting offers from: 1. Business Consulting (Finance practice) at EY (not Parthenon) and 2. the Business Valuations practice at Deloitte. Which role has better exits in terms of WLB, growth, salary? Which would you choose and why? If you only have experience in/can speak to only 1 role that’s fine as well, please share your thoughts!PwC KPMG
I am applying for a job at a consulting firm and it seems like the role I am applying for is a step down for me. I am really interested in moving from my current organization but wondering if I should first go through the process for the role advertised and then try to elevate it or rather bring it up front during the initial discussions with HR/hiring manager. Thoughts?
Any insight on getting MBA from mendoza as far as prospects for transitioning into a post-mba strategy consulting role? It’s ranked outside the top 15 but from research seems like it still sends plenty of grads to top consulting firms (not MBB)
EY Parthenon Software strategy group (SSG) vs Deal Technology (DT)? What are the pros and cons / salary / career growth / exit opps?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
I’m in a pickle. Currently working in multistate tax and I am not a fan. I just accepted a position with KPMG on their methods team (it sounds like interesting work and I’m sick of compliance). I put in my notice and my Deloitte manager is trying to fight for me. He wants to match the pay they are offering and get me into a group that I like more. I am a ball of anxiety. Loved the people I met with for KPMG, but having my manager push so hard for me is making me have second thoughts. Any input?
Is it feasible to make a jump from BizOps to TAS? No accounting experience. One of my good friends says his team is aggressively hiring because they are desperate for talent and he would be able to get my foot in the door. I’m a finance major who has only had consulting/industry experience, but if they’re actually paying what he says they are then it’s a no-brainer for me to jump if given the opportunity - I’d just be worried about failing without a CPA/truly relevant work experience.
Thoughts on non profit exit ops for a tech consultant? I really would like to start doing something that has meaning. Not that aml doesn't bring me fulfillment 😆 but looking to try something new
Currently at 135k base comp, should hit manager by EOY. Should I take a tech program manager position at FB for 200k? What’s better for long term career growth? I hear once you’re at FB, navigating to new teams, projects, and roles is possible.

Currently interviewing for TD&E senior consultant at EY - completed the pre-recorded video interview and have an interview with a manager in the practice coming up. Any tips from anyone who has been through this process recently? Thanks :) Also what's the day-to-day like in this role?
I have a question - why do some hiring managers require a sample project, even from candidates with 10 years of experience in that particular vertical and a portfolio?
Hi everyone, so I am in need of advice.. I want to pivot into Data Analytics or BA but I have no experience.. I am taking the IBM data Analytics cert on Coursera to build up my resume. As a hiring manager or decision maker what would you like to see in someones resume? What are some courses I would need to take? Or how can I stand out? Like SQL or Python courses in Udemy?
Anyone here received offer for an experienced associate position in management consulting at PwC in the last couple of weeks? I know a handful of us done with the partner round interview and are waiting for the feedback. No response from the team after sending follow up email either. PwC

I am scared of returning to my empty classroom that sits in a covid hotspot. Its all I want to focus on but I can't...so many great things happened during the spring and summer and they never got celebrated. There's no time like the present! Let's drop the negative, mind numbing complaints (speaking to myself) and grow & glow through it
How do you spend the last day of school after the kids have gone home and you have locked up your classroom for summer?
How long do you wait before you hear back from a job opportunity? 2 interviews completed and they liked me a lot, they said they’d be in touch but it’s been about a week.
In a panel interview, What kind of questions do you ask associates at the end of an interview? I am prepared with questions for the partners, but what do you really ask the senior associates in the team?
When I start interviewing post-layoff, how do I explain my departure date? Firm doesn't tell prospective employers WHY I left if they call for background checks, just when- so I can spin the why.
My boss and mentor was recently laid off with the cuts made last week, and I have a gut feeling I’m next. I’ve tried my best to stay positive with my current agency, but it’s time to move on. I need a change of pace. Understand just about every shop is on a hiring freeze, but anyone need a strategist?
What is the minimum number of years/time I need left on my H1B for my employer to be able to sponsor green card?

Wanted to get opinion from community. Should I continue as EY FAAS manager M2 (120k) or take job as an assistant controller with biotech for 170k plus bonus and stock? Assistant Controller job would require me to be in office few days a week (about hour and half commute one way) whereas faas is remote for foreseeable future. I also don't know way to get promoted to FAAS senior manager ( m3-> senior manager?). I also don't know FAAS SM salary.
When do you typically here back from Columbia regular decision for interviews? I submitted my app almost 2 months ago.
