Looking into staying in London after my diplomatic assignment is up, ideally with MBB or a boutique firm at the AP level, preferably TC above £ 220k. Is this a reasonable expectation for someone with 17 yoe and multiple countries/roles? I know comps are lower in the UK then in the US, but surely partners at these firms are still bringing in £500k plus right? Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Salaries in Canada are about half for comparable roles
Damn. I thought EY-P would be differing in salary trends compared to the larger EY organization, and more in line with MBB, where as per me salaries in US/Canada are quite similar.
Not EYP obv but a colleague of mine got promoted to EM when she moved (voluntarily) to Canada, and her raise was keeping her US salary. She said her disposable income ultimately went up because things like healthcare cost less.
That is about right when you factor in the exchange rate. I moved from US to Canada this year, but under consulting not EY-P

Not the same at all!
@BCG: For MBB, salaries stay roughly the same, don't they? I am not sure if in your comment you meant for EY-P or for your organization/BCG.
Damn I think I heard that Deloitte has global pay a few years ago. My b school classmates living in China are getting paid insane wages for the cost of living
