Yes, P1...we have so many direct hire PPs and promoted so many to PPs and yet pipeline isn't amazing. Buy out low performing Partners if they aren't selling.
Exiting Principals? Woah...let's just pump the brakes here...
"I'm sure firm leadership has it all under control" - not sure if I could disagree with this statement any more than I do.
P1 - Why should we exclude PPEDs from the chopping block? I'm just curious about the distinction. I've never been in a position where performing under expectations didn't impact my earnings so I'd like to hear about your point of view on the subject, since you did agree that low performers should be eliminated.
What's dangerous about it. Call it reduction in force. Bottom 10% are let go
I couldn't find the charge code for "celebrate eclipse". Can you create one please?
P1 I hope you're kidding. Go sell something.
woah 10% !!! lucky ! I bet you'd get really mad knowing each partner makes your whole base salary every 3 months or so
P1 and EY OP - the conversation you guys are having actually shows how progressive EY is. Kudos to our open door policy, unfortunately I plan to leave soon. Will be a proud EY alum.
Everyone does realize that P1 is jerking your chains right?
ITA. Some of them literally do nothing. They have a couple accounts that renew and that's it. The west coast is dry because of this.
^Don't try to change the subject
^yep, we're just playing along to feed his ego
Dangerous kind of talk here...maybe we should all just get back to our project deliverables. I'm sure firm leadership has it all under control.
Partners are now salesmen. Hit those targets to justify high cost center or else find new employment just like any other salesmen in any industry
P1 - What makes you think firm leadership has it all under control?
Listen guys - should we eliminate low performers? Absolutely. I think we all agree that "trimming the fat" while keeping Principals out of the mix is the way to go here. What I really want to hear about is what was everyone doing to celebrate the eclipse yesterday? Pretty exciting stuff, huh?
I think the firm leadership plan is to keep on promoting everyone till we have nothing but PPEDs.
I just got a BS 10% raise in a promotion year
P1 is amazinggg
