Agree with everyone. Ignore that other post of the person worried his senior took a sickie. In my experience, rarely ever are you negatively looked at for being sick. I’m with P1- if you are coughing and sneezing, I will send you home; we basically sit on top of each other at client site and I’m not risking my whole team going down with a cold
2nd one. And they changed it to 80 hours a year where you can take care of family and pets. Keep your team in loop.

I am a PPEDD and we don’t get a metric on this for our people. It is tracked but not something they inform us of. So I would agree; laid back and I hope it remains that way. If you are sick we don’t want you in the office as much as you don’t want to be there either. Better to rest and recover then get everyone else sick. If it is a more major illness then I would say the firm is quite good at giving you the time you need to recover.

Agree on laid back but I think that if more than 5 days straight HR might get involved because that is when Short term disability could kick in
