Any tips on how to ask for a big raise that takes my title change into account? Went from assistant to director in 1 year and was not compensated for the title change. I did get an assistant however and the promotion approved (I had to ask for it). I’ve now been in the director role for 1 year and feel it is fair to ask. I’m making only 5% more than when I started as a marketing assistant.

Any tips on how to prepare for a Skills Test Interview? I wasn't told the specifics but the interviewer will be sending me the assessment exercise 48 hours beforehand. It is a junior paralegal position at an estate law firm. I was told the purpose of the assessment is to see if I can perform the daily tasks of the job and test my soft skills.

Curious to hear how others are thinking about job security (in the event of a stronger correction), building traction at a new job (when you won’t meet your leadership team in person for a year), and stagnant comp (at places like Deloitte who aren’t concerned about retention).

Does anyone have any experience in dealing with teams that are boys clubs? My current team has been excluding me from meetings, relegating me to play a role that is lower than my tenure and basically treating me like an overpaid secretary. They’re all men who know each other well so I think that’s part of it, but have no idea how to handle this in a remote COVID world.

EY Technology Transformation ($95K) or Deloitte S&O? Interviewing for the latter and seems like a Senior Consultant at Deloitte makes about $130K a year, if not more.
