Counselor never talked to me about my year end review and it was never released to me, I still haven't had my comp discussion. Didn't get the comp email or any PPB in my paycheck, am I getting fired??

At this point in the game it doesn't make a difference where you at everybody is getting laid off at one point or another the only thing I say is try to repair yourself for it if it happens to you

Tax Senior here. I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). I just got told they’re firing me. Should I expect severance? Have other people been fired for similar? What did you do with your career?

Curious questions! What are the things offered by companies after laying off their employees? Do they pay 3 months severance? Or not?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

DXC hired me for Indian client .My job profile on system admin. Work will be on Legacy Technology. Do I get chance to upgrade to cloud and shift to different Client

Most of the review on DXC is negative. How will be job security and work life balance. In most review I see "termination & layoffs." How is current situation in 2022

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I'm still bringing money in as a software engineer, but I'm looking for advice on how to support a partner who has been laid off. Also my lwd in current firm is still 10 days away so I can only provide them with my payslips for now. There is an option to select Yes if still haven't received other docs. Had a really bad day 😞 I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. Things will be going well and then out of nowhere I get blackout drunk. I am tired of feeling sick and anxious from drinking. Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I have worked only in a few tools in GCP and done basic coding in pyspark and above average in SQL, but need to be prepared to handle all questions to grab some offer. YouTube has lot of resources but confused on which one to start with. I have an interview this Tuesday in another 2 days.
