Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

Thanks for this. I was last at Meta as a CW in a program management role and recently had a phone screen with a recruiter for another program manager role, this time FTE, but I haven’t heard back from them in about two weeks. Thinking that maybe the job might be on hold or something else might be going on. But I really would like to get back into Meta as an FTE. Any advice you could give would be appreciated. lyricfireblog@yahoo.com
Thanks for this feedback. Very helpful! I’ll reach back out to the recruiter. At this point I’m thinking the job may have been filled but it still looks like I’m in the running on my profile which is very confusing. It just would be nice to know either way.
Hi there, thank you for doing this. I’m interested. Currently enrolled in a tech industry apprenticeship for Project Management in hopes to have a career as a PM.

Thanks for offering to help! How is the meta interview process and the comp structure? Looking for analytics roles
I'll break this one into its parts.
1. Interview process or the "loop" as it's called depends on a few things - job type (CW vs. FTE) as well as role (Technical vs non technical, SWE vs. PM etc.)
At the core you typically will have the following with some variability again depending on the above.
1. Phone screen (typically w/ recruiter)
2. Onsite (3-5 30-45 min sessions w/ different team members)
3. May need another call 1:1 w/ hiring manager if they weren't part of step 2
4. Debrief w/ recruiter to understand timeline / comp expectations
5. You may have technical screeners somewhere in between 1/2 depending on role
Total process usually takes between 3-5 weeks depending on how many candidates are in the pipeline and how fast the role needs to be filled.
Link to example loop for reference this is for an SWE role https://www.metacareers.com/swe-prep-onsite/
2. This one is also a bit more complex as there's multiple parts to it. E.g. location? tier 1 city (NYC / SF) vs tier 2 (Austin, Miami etc.) Job level? E.g. M1 vs IC3 vs. IC5
However, your comp will have the following components to it base pay + bonus + equity (RSUs). In addition there's obviously other benefits, which I won't get into but are pretty standard across big tech (additional company holidays, equity refreshers, reimbursable expenses, health and wellness stipends etc.)
That was a mouthful hope this helps.
Looking at doing the same and transitioning it pm, email is castorj1@yahoo.com

Hi, thanks for your post! would love to connect to understand how did you make your choices, as I am currently being interviewed for Google & Microsoft. Thanks! andrea.idem@gmail.com
Hi happy to connect. If you'd like to send a DM we can chat further and get into specifics... but at the end of the day it's all preference.
The big techs are all great companies and certainly provide comparable benefits. For me, the types of products and projects that Meta had were more appealing (but again this is preference and neither right or wrong)
I wasn't as interested in Google's suite of products (hardware or software) and LinkedIn was always 3rd on my list. But to that end I just recently had a friend leave Google for LinkedIn! So again, just comes down to what you are looking to work on in your next role, what excites you.
Not to mention, Google & FB will typically be more competitive with their total comp offers. I can't speak to Microsoft as a whole but LI was a bit lower than the others. Not much but enough for me to look elsewhere.
Thank you for this offer! Would you have guidance about the initial phone screen for a product role? Trying to determine if it's informal or behavioral, etc. Thanks!
Typically pretty informal. If you’re getting a phone screen you (on paper) are already qualified. But be prepared to draw from your experience.
