Do most places in Canada not consider internship/coop experience as actual experience? I earned 15 months of my CPA practical experience that way (4 coop terms) so I am confused why some companies do not consider it.

Have any of you actually flipped out on your client? I'm close.

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. What could be the reasons? What should I do now?

How do you advocate for a "level" promotion in a company that has vague unofficial descriptions of levels? I'm doing L4-5 (on standard levels, or L3 within our system) work but can't get away from the unofficial "L2".

Making 140k with 7 yrs experience in this role, and 12 prior years experience in Systems Engineering roles. I know someone on my team is at 180k with a similar career.

I’m a paper planner at heart, but in this practice, there’s so many tasks and sub tasks for each client matter and each task may be in various points of completion (to do, waiting on, in process, etc.). Hi fishes, my previous employer has not given me the money for Earned Leaves, they are saying it's not in their policy.. I have a variable bonus of 100000. Out of this they have given only 19,000 in the month of December after 6 months of joining...But they are not giving me any bonus after completing 1 year and 2 months.. They have stopped my appraisal as well...

So in total, I lost my appraisal money, bonus and Earned Leaves money... I feel betrayed and cheated...
