I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Removes me from a Slack channel! That Friday, my supervisor hands me 2 page performance review. I have 2 WEEKS to correct my 30% performance and I’m new! Wats your take guys ? I don't like hybrid model as it works for those who are locals of same city where the office is . For me i have to leave my parents, hometown and travel 2000kms to Bangalore for joining office how it is hybrid for me ? I still worry about myself and family health not sure about COVID. My work partner has a toddler and frequently misses meetings or goes on mute due to kid-related things. They also have to disappear around 6pm for a few hours bc of kid. Even if/when they can chat later in the evening, they’re usually pretty checked out or I just don’t feel like brainstorming at 10pm. Long story short, I feel like I’m picking up a lot of the slack due to their inability to be around, but I also feel bad because obviously parenting is hard. Can anyone relate?
