Failed BEC with a 70, is one of week of time enough to re-take? I also have scheduled AUD in first week of Dec so basically don’t have enough time to give for BEC. Appreciate any valuable advise and thanks in advance.

Can you move Aud or are you crunched for time bc of credits?

like

Yes Becker

Bec is the easiest to pass but easiest to fail. It’s weird. My suggestion is to focus on coso, erm,Econ and IT (since per the aicpa outline they are heavily weighted topics) 70% of the time and the other topics at 30%.. mcq is weighted 50% and wc is 15% so ensure that you can do those two sections very well. 6 days is sufficient only if you dedicate that entire week to studying effectively.

Thanks for the insight!

Can you continue studying AUD now then study for a BEC retake after your exam the first week of December? That way you can continue with what you’re studying now and you’d have more than a week after your AUD exam to study for BEC?

I thought about that but the thing is for AUD too it’s my retake so I need to review Audit, since BEC is fresh in my mind I was wondering if I can just continue with BEC and go full force for a week and retake, then continue with AUD the same way until 1st week of December and if at all I need to retake audit I can do toward end of December in this way, I’ll be hopefully done with CPA in 2020

I had to retake AUD in July and I studied for 10 days and my score went from a 74>85. This was also right in the middle of the tax deadline so I was working more hours than usual and still managed it okay. I think if you put in a good amount of time for one solid weekend you can identify where you went wrong. So I definitely have faith that you can get them both done!

Hi all! I just wanted to share my experience with the CPA exam and how I prepped in hope that it helps some of you. I just found out that I passed my last exam yesterday and I’m now in the process of applying for licensure. I took REG and passed with a 75 about two years ago now. I also took the other 3 around the same time and failed all of them. I tried to fit them all into a semester but that wasn’t realistic for me. Fast forward a year later after I got out of PA and went into industry cont.
