No way! Retake it! The reason why I’m so far behind is because I gave up. I scored a 65 and a 58 on audit and Reg last year and I gave up and started taking them a year later. Guess what could have happened had I not given up? There’s a strong possibility I could have passed them both and been moving forward this year! You got this !!

I took the CPA exam in buffalo in 1990 in the buffalo armory...in the basement, and the power went out. I passed half the exam and took the other half 1 year later in the basement of the old Nassau colesium and passed. Don't give up keep the faith.

64 72 and then 75. Just keep going; fall down and get up again and beat the shit out of the exam.

Took Reg too many times but I eventually passed. Never give up, quitters don’t win.

Took Reg way too many times, and just when I thought I'd give up, I passed. Do not worry, pull through because your pass is right around the corner

You can do this, and it will all be worth it once you’re a CPA!

One thing I keep having to remind myself is that career mobility is higher than ever. Have gotten several offers at this point from companies that I "kind of like", and have been holding out for the dream companies. But I should probably just take a solid offer elsewhere. It would give me a foundation to build up skills and experience, and continuously applying for jobs while having a solid job is probably a lot less stressful than needing the perfect job before I graduate my MS degree in 2 mo.

I went in-house 3 years ago. At the time, I was interviewing with 2 companies. One company was a much better cultural fit for me and I was 1 of 2 finalists. But they chose the other applicant. I got the other job and have been there ever since. The work is ok,but I still struggle with company culture daily. 3 years later, the original job that I wanted has been reposted. Reach out to the GC directly to show interest? Is it worth moving from a comfy job just bc I think the culture will be better?

Currently 6 years at job A at 100K and 10K annual bonus but lil to no upward mobility. It's safe if not going anywhere.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

Interview just for practice?
