Fairly unbiased news source? I find WSJ not bad. Comments?

Well Fox News is “fair and balanced”, no need to ask, they’ll tell you.

They dropped that. They don’t even pretend anymore.

WSJ is pretty biased now that they are owned by Fox, as long as you ignore the op-eds it should be fine. I love Washington Post and NYT because it’s unparalleled reporting even if with a liberal bias. CNBC is great for unbiased finance/markets news.

I read the Guardian for most of my news but also read the Spectator (British one) for balance.

Every now and then I hear a source I haven’t before and look them up there. There are different spectrums as well. I personally love NPR but recognize they are left leaning, I think this one has them as center.

That’s a good perspective, G1. I do find NPR slightly left leaning but never put it into this context.

All news sources are biased, there’s no such thing as an unbiased source. You need to have a few key sources and learn how to spot the biases they have. Then always look at other places too for stories or events that are important to you. I subscribe to the NYT, but it’s super obvious that their opinion section is pretty much all anti-Trump. My husband reads The Economist and we talk to each other about things. I’ll even check out Fox News online on occasion to see what their spin is. It’s good to get lots of viewpoints, but recognize the bias in each.

That said, most of the United States population is anti-Trump. He didn’t even win the popular vote. His corrupt organizations speak for themselves.

So I know a lot of people are struggling with this shut down and covid stress. So I thought I’d tell you about the horror story that is currently my life and hope you feel better about your situation in comparison: I am a legal immigrant to the US. I attended an Ivy League law school, worked my way up from a seriously toxic first job to being an associate at a biglaw firm now. 8 months ago while returning to the US from a 3 day vacation, I was randomly told by the airport gate attendant (contd)
