Grew up there. Best place ever. Tip: get an Audi or Subaru to blend in.

I hear lots of attractive people go to Boulder

Live in Boulder. Couldn't be happier. But I am an endurance athlete and do all sorts of outdoor activities... if they aren't into fitness and or nature they may prefer Denver better! Still a fabulous place, but more to do there than Boulder.

I used to live on Boulder and if you love the outdoors and exercise like me it's a thumbs up, if you don't and are looking for lots of urban activities it's not as good of a choice. I would move back anytime though. Now I live in Denver

Colorado is dope (pun intended). Great place. Boulder is fun from from what I hear and a good spot for young professionals. Also THE mecca for outdoors and sports, particularly endurance sports. I say yay. Although..Denver?

Yay in my opinion. Used to live there, loved it.

Would you feel comfortable telling HR that your service line’s culture sucks and name the individuals who cause it? Or is a better approach saying it’s the leadership in general creating a negative and toxic culture? How effective are these conversations really? Trying to assess if there’s any point in bringing this up. Obviously HR works for the company and an employee sharing their thoughts on the unsupportive, cold leaders could bite me in the long run.

Am I being dumb here - just purchased a fridge from Lowes, delivery next week. Just found out through company perks that I could get it from a different retailer for $600 less but it is back ordered meaning it could be weeks or months until I get the fridge…. I am leaning toward keeping my order with Lowes … current fridge works, it is just old and shelves / ice maker is broken.

I want to create a data visualization portfolio, but I’m not sure where to begin. I work in urban planning and wanna do more urban analytics kind of stuff. Does anyone have any pointers for me as to where to begin and what all different types of visualizations I should be aiming to include? I’ve used R and Excel for this so far. I’ve done some web mapping using JS as well and use illustrator for my visualizations as well. Thanks!
