Fam, are you guys mixing vaccines? The track record for “take the first one available!!” isn’t the greatest

No, ensured I received moderna both times. Much of the “advice” around vaccine mixing has very little science, or international consensus behind it.

like

Yeah, going to keep it same for me as well. With so much uncertainty around vaccines globally, don’t know how the whole mixing thing will work out

like

Nope. After the AZ debacle, all I hear now is “we will say anything to make you take the next dose available”.

With that being said, everyone should do their own cost benefit analysis on whether they should mix or not.

I don’t have skin in the game anymore, I’m already fully vaxxed (both Pfizer).

like

Not doing it. Got Pfizer for the first dose, waiting for the shipment mid this week for my second dose.

Thinking the same, I just rescheduled my appointment. Annoying to have to keep checking on the status online but definitely don’t want to be mixing at this point

My doctor said that it was OK to do it. But, there might be more side effects, like flue like symptoms.

What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. I work 3 feet from my bed, I find the barriers of a phone/email between me and a senior to add a huge amount of stress to my life and I think it’s stunting my career development at my firm because I can’t build relationships as effectively. I’ve never at all had mental health issues before but now am really starting to feel burnt out and anxious most of the time. What do you think?

Let’s say you’re looking to transform your fitness - lose weight, tone, stay generally healthy. I know diet is more important than exercise. Would you then first focus on your diet and build sustainable changes before getting to exercising? Or would you do both but focus more on diet? If the latter, how do you avoid getting overwhelmed with so many changes? And this is for a long-term ‘feel-good’ kinda lifestyle, not just for immediate weight loss

I work in a consulting firm for more than 12 hours everyday. Sometimes, I have to work on weekends too. I am with the firm for last 1.5 years and did not practice coding (Data Structures and Algorithms) and I was into data science before getting placed at my current company.

I am completely burnout and when I tried to push myself to study hard and switch the job, my health became worst.

Help. I have not dealt with an anti-trans employee before and I need help with approach. People are WRONG about student loans

The only reason why college is expensive is BECAUSE of student loans

Back then you heard stories about people waiting tables to pay for college bc back then college was cheap - all because of NO student loans

But then the gov guaranteed these loans so colleges could jack up the price

Imagine u went to a restaurant where the government covered the bill - the restaurant could charge whatever they wanted.

Thanks why college is expensive
