This is easier to accomplish with a little bit of budget. I don't think you can expect this to happen organically all that quickly, unless you have a unbelievably compelling content.
Exactly, my point. Iâm not saying itâs impossible, but you would have to have a consistent really compelling and viral content. We donât, we are just trying to grow our startup account to get users
It's social so participate in the community. Find other folks to follow. Check out what they are doing, comment and share it. Hang out in related forums. Build relationships with people who might be interested in your content and then invite them to check out what you're posting. Find out who can amplify your content. But always be a contributing member of the community so you can earn trust. Be consistent and build up a body of work over time so you can use the long tail effect to your advantage. But feel free to give yourself a time limit for this experiment too so you don't have to go on forever at something that isn't gaining traction. Check out a Seth Godin's post called "First, ten"
I'd say giveaways is a good start if you can. Like follow this to win this thing. Or comment on this to win this. Tag a mate etc. And from my experience, many cheapish giveaways is better than one big.
