Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

You want to be able to focus on the problems of a single firm rather than going project to project. To be able to build a program, pursue initiatives, and being able to focus on the work rather than worrying about managing the account.
More important is why you want that opportunity. The typical consulting exit reasons are acceptable - personal (travel), impact (less chance of shelfware when you're internal), working at a good company instead of bouncing from good to bad, apply what you've learned, etc... But why that company and that opportunity is what will move you forward.
