Is the MBB Sponsored MBA worth it? Hi I’m going to be working full-time at an MBB soon and have been thinking about pursuing an MBA in ~3 years. If I can continue receiving promotions, is the opportunity cost worth it? Is it better to leave MBB after those 2-3 into an industry role? Also, is it too ambitious to say I want to earn $1MM/YR? Would exiting to industry be a faster way to do it than consulting? Thanks McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group
Need better comp. Anyone hiring in Denver?
Have an offer with McKinsey & Company. Gave notice at Deloitte and my PPMD has set up time for Discussion with a subject of possible negotiation. I love my team and work at Deloitte. My reasons to interview at Mckinsey were comp, exposure to senior client leadership, exit opps and because its Mck. Now i am just rethinking because of option partner might give in terms of comp. For those who made the similar switch have you found it to be worth it? Leaving your network?
PIP for New Employee at Google. So I have had this independent contributor role for 4 months. I have not excelled in the roll, but did not struggle eithrr and be honest had a lot of difficulty connecting with manager. Three months into the role, I found out my wife of 10 years would be leaving me, which understandably impacted me. It Impact my mental wellbeing and I became depressed. I had to temportabiliyy move back to my parents places, which sucked.

The first question is taste in humor, and you'll be asked to see if you've ever made a Deloitte joke to which you must answer, "I'm Deloitted you asked that". It's the only way to get to Round 2 interviews.

You just gotta have good taste to work at Deloitte. They won’t have it any other way.
Patagucci or North Face?
you’ve gotten a lot of silly responses. there’s no such thing as taste level. clarify with the person that told you such non-sense. they will test you - on cases and will ask ‘fit’ questions as well
Is it possible they have a lisp and they actually meant test?
I clarified - and they said the recruiter definitely said “..the next round will be with 2-3 people on video to do a taste level and association interview”. Could taste level just be how well they think you’ll fit within the group?
Thats how I'm interpretting it but its kinda weird
Well I don't think they did a good job with clarification else you would have gotten the clarification. Ask them what does a taste level actually mean if that's what they said
Since it's something no one seems to be familiar with, I think it's fine to actually ask what it even means. Recruiter should be able to clarify. It's beneficial for them too to ensure the candidate is well prepped
