I have always found the strategy space super interesting and just got an offer from Forrester- a US research and consulting firm for a strategy consulting role based in Sydney, the rem is 50% higher then what I’m on now as well. Do I take it- I’ve been with KPMG just under a year, is it too soon?

Accepted an offer with a new company for a similar role I’m currently doing with over double the money. (YAY!) My immediate boss, was completely classless and belittled me for leaving. • “You can’t handle the role here? I received an email today from recruiter asking for a phone interview which I’m so happy to hear from but I applied about a month ago. I moved on and applied internally for a different role as a transfer. This new role is a promotion and my start date is next week. I immediately responded back to the recruiter and agreed to the phone interview for tomorrow 5/4…. Do I mention any of the above to them? Do I tell them I just accepted a new role and different position? Please advise

Hi Folks, Just want to share the worst hiring experience i faced while interviewing for Test Lead position for infosys. I cleared all the rounds, post that shared the documents for BGC. Before the process initiation i pre informed them about my cctc, ectc and offer amount inhand. Inspite of all that after waiting for 15days i got a cl from h.r team, they literally got nerve to offer me the amount which is 1.5L less than my cctc. Extreme wastage of bandwidth of the interviewee, Beware

This is a tough subject- but has anyone done selective reduction if they have more than one baby? I’m 12 weeks, twins. Also step mom to a 5 and 4 year old from my husbands previous marriage. His relationship with his ex is toxic at best. They do not get along and it’s hard to imagine them ever married. I did IUI to get pregnant and it worked- but I got 2 instead of 1. Why waste time in business school when I can write macros/build models via YouTube and Google?

Last year, My girlfriend was making 80k while I was making 200k so I took her out to dinners and took care of the groceries etc. Basically made sure it’s an equitable relationship. She got a new job this year and is now making 210k (more than me) but still expects me to pay for all the dinners and groceries. I’ve already talked to her about this but just resulted in argument. Is there any coming back from this situation to make this equitable relationship or is break up the only option here?
