Anyone from Boston Consulting Group Boston Consulting Group (BCG) working in non-consulting - Technology/Engineering/Global Services?
How's the work life balance? Glassdoor reviews are full of "long working hours" and hence wanted to know if it's the same with non-consulting folks as well?
How far is it true across the organisation?
Please help me shed some light to decide.
Thanks.

So if I understand correctly they tried to board early and got caught? It happens cause people, at least the system worked!
Or maybe they are used to boarding early because they've always had a small child and just didn't realize they couldn't any more. You say family of 8, so I'm assuming some of them are children. Have some empathy and patience - not everyone does this every week.
It does happen. but the balls to think to try group 1 than say f it. Let's try Global services. It is a level 10 douche family.
But everyone should be able to follow the rules, don't you think? No matter how often they fly?
children should be last on, not first. there should be a movement to change "pre boarding" into "post boarding"
Are you a mother who has traveled with multiple children? It's not a walk in the park. Just cut them some slack. Being nice doesn't cost you anything.
it costs my sanity
Their choice to have the kid and their choice to take the kid on a plane.
ya i dont see how that should privelege them to get on first
