In fact it's the most common and repeated complaint I hear. As an example I need an acknowledgement form for putting 2 15 year old kids in the C share 529 plan. Anyone tell me how that makes any sense at all?
All the time...
After 17 years in the business I understand the concept of acknowledgment forms. that doesn't really in any way answer my question. It was pretty specific to how often FAs at other firms get the same complaint.
With forms the client or me just makes the mortgage joke and moves on. Now the paper mailings on the other hand...prospectuses and the like...those I get complaints. No matter how often I mention to turn it off online...
Not once since I left Jones
Your client can go online and turn most of that mail off from being sent to them. As far as getting signatures, it’s for your protection.
It was a question about how the acknowledgement makes sense at all.
I get them ALLLLL the time and it annoys me that they are ungrateful that someone in our back office is sending them wonderful education material as and instead of READING IT and being grateful they complain!!!
4 out of 5 meetings
That sucks for y’all
Ya, all the time.. clients always say "for a company that switched to paperless, you sure do send me a lot of paper" smh
All e-statements now, we give clients the choice but heavily sell paperless. As far as form complaints, not a huge amount. Every once in a while we get the ‘signing a mortgage/life away’ but less so as time goes on I feel.
I've never heard this. Sign everyone up for e statements and give online access.
All the time. It actually surprises me why people get so irritated by it... at my house if it’s junk mail i get rid of it. I don’t think about it again.
