I got recently hired at Coforge for HSBC account. I am a Java Developer (Spring, Spring boot, Micro services). Could someone please share their experience working with HSBC client. How is the work, work life balance and learning experience?
It would also be very helpful if someone details the tech stack from a Java developer perspective.

Ugh, I don’t want lose 1k but can’t justify ~$5,000 in out of pocket expenses / mileage run. Anyone in the same boat?

Not sure how to gauge this: first year lit attorney and have not been meeting hours due to general lack of work (I ask for it, people just say to hang tight until something comes up). The work I do get typically has a very quick turnaround time, so I’ll bill ~14h/day but for only a few days at a time, resulting in low monthly numbers. Is this normal for lit? Part of me thinks it’s a result of poor case management, but who am I to say? Just trying to hear about others’ experiences.

Is it mandatory to come to office 3 days a week from October in globant. I am from Bangalore location. Any communication happened regarding this?

Trying to apply for another position at the same company but my boss told me explicitly that if they find out people on our team are looking for other jobs, they will stop giving that person raises, promotions, bonuses, & access to opportunities. I have spoken with the hiring manager for the new position and he just asked me if I have notified my current manager. Not sure how to navigate this tricky situation. Was hoping to interview before having to tell my manager that I am applying. Ideas?

I'm looking to get to an advisory role with a Big 4. I've been told that my salary is too high for a Sr role, but I don't have the sales experience for Mgr. Am I stuck in industry?

I was on a partner/manager call today and they were discussing the “high” turnover at the senior and experienced associate level. What was shocking is that while ours is about double normal, evidently we are 3 out of 4 in turnover meaning 2 of the Big 4 are even higher.
